PTA School Meetings
All PS 185 families, including children, are welcome at our meetings.
A monthly PTA meeting is typically held at 7 pm. In general meetings are offered in a hybrid format (in person in the school + via zoom), although in the winter months they will be virtual only. This year elections & budget vote meetings will be virtual only to encourage participation. At each meeting the PTA officers give a report, including a financial update, and the school’s principal, Mrs. Goudelias, also gives a report. We also invite school staff and outside experts to give presentations about topics of interest to the school community, such as internet safety, fire safety, and curriculum programs.
These meetings are a great opportunity to interact with the school administration and discuss issues of interest and raise concerns.
