Join us for a world of imagination at our Annual Book Fair! PS 185's Annual Book Fair will be held on November 14th and 15th.
It's a two-day celebration of books, learning, and fun. All classes attend the fair during the school day, and families are welcome to purchase books after school. All proceeds raise funds for the PTA.
SCHOLASTIC x PS 185 book fair
Please check out our book fair homepage! Here you can preview the selection of books Scholastic will offer as well as set up your child with an e-wallet fund they can use when they shop. This is not required - we will accept cash and CC payments as well. However this option means your child doesn't need to bring cash with them when they visit the fair. We will be able to look them up by their name to check them out. Please note any $ your child doesn't spend at the fair will stay in your Scholastic account and you can use it to shop online at a later date or for next year's fair.
If you are able, we welcome donations to our general school e-wallet! This helps cover the cost of tax for kids who are a little short at the register. We really appreciate your support!
Volunteers
A successful fair requires a large number of volunteers! We will need volunteers for:
Monday Nov 13th afterschool for set up
Tuesday Nov 14th throughout the school day to help sell
Wednesday Nov 15th throughout the school day + after school to help sell & breakdown
The class schedule will not be available until much closer to the event date, but we encourage volunteers to sign up now. We welcome volunteers returning to help when their student visits the fair even if volunteer time slots are full.
