My name is Maia Ueoka Lynch. I have come to know the school through my daughter Margaret, currently a second grader. I had the privilege of serving as a co-class parent when she was a kindergartener and first grader, and last year, participating as a member of the school’s Wellness Committee. I deeply value the elementary school experience, and seeing our children learning and experiencing the world together at PS 185. If I can be of further support by helping out at events that bring us together, assisting other families and guardians in their desire to participate, or by being an advocate for you, I would be so happy to do so.

Outside of my activities at PS 185, I am a multimedia artist and art educator collaborating with students of all ages. A long time camp counselor and swim teacher, I have a passion for working with children and supporting our communities. I am often in awe of our collective strength and creativity. I would love to connect with you and keep building upon this buzzing network of engagement and productivity — family, guardian, teacher, support staff, and administration — centering on the children at PS 185.
