My name is Michelle Magnus and I am your current Co-President along with Christina Marasco. I am mom to three charismatic PS 185 students, Freya (185 alum), Theodore (2nd grade) and Peter (1st grade)! This is my third year as a PTA executive board member, and I am excited to continue our collaborative partnership between parents, teachers and administration.

My children's education and school community are extremely important to me! I believe in a rigorous education as well as creating an environment for all children to learn and flourish! I actively participate in our CEC meetings vocalizing the concerns of our parents and school community. Whether it is my concern or yours, I am willing to vocalize your feelings and opinions!

My hope for our school is to maintain our academic rigor for our children, while providing support for all different types of learners. Also, I hope we can create more enrichment opportunities in-class and after-school. I hope to foster parent, teacher and administration relations. But most of all keep our families involved and active in our school community!
